What is NLP and How Does it Work?

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is about learning how to be more open and flexible in the way you think, which leads to changes in the way you see, feel, and know. Working with NLP techniques will expand your awareness and assists you in developing different ways of communicating in any given situation... NLP works on the principle that everyone has all the resources they need to make positive changes in their own life. They just need to access the greater wisdom within.

What is NLP Used for?

NLP is used as a method of personal development through promoting skills, such as self-reflection, confidence, and communication. Practitioners of NLP work with clients to assist them in achieving their goals, whether work related or personal.

Practitioners of NLP also work with coaching people into their personal best, helping them discover the wisdom from within themselves, moving them into a different way of thinking, building new flexibility in choices and when you work with changing your body posture and your way of thinking you can find you are more effective and empowered in life and can move toward and into your goal much faster than you think.

NLP, Neuro Linguistic Programming, teaches a range of very effective tools and techniques that help you achieve the results you want or assist you in recognizing what you really want.

Whilst working with NLP I have been able to assist many people in finding their true identity of self, empowered and accepting of their skills, and open to being more confident about new learnings and changes in their lives. Any shift toward what you want is a positive change, once you learn how to start moving toward your goal it is easier to build the steps to continue to move forward until you achieve it.

Position of Excellence

Adjust your physiology to be your most powerful stance, chest out shoulders back.
Take a long deep breath and look straight ahead and upward with your eyes, thinking about where you want to go and when you want to get there. Start walking slowly forward and look ahead and up as you affirm your goal to yourself then say to yourself

"I think I can….. I think I can…… I know I can….. I know I can…"

Look up and then straight ahead and repeat as you walk forward envisaging you achieving your goal.
